Bec — author of Is This It?

About the Author

Bec is a woman who turned 40 and stopped pretending. After years of holding it all together — the roles, the relationships, the quiet ache of is this really it? — she did the one thing most of us are taught not to do.

She questioned everything.

This book is what came out of that unravelling. Sixteen chapters of the truth she was too afraid to say out loud — about marriage, motherhood, identity, desire, shame, and the slow violence of a life that looks fine from the outside.

It's not a self-help book. It's not a memoir tied up with a bow. It's a mirror for every woman who has ever stood in her own kitchen and wondered who she became, and whether there's still time to come home to herself.

  • On the shame: She names what we've been taught to swallow.
  • On the power: She shows what's waiting on the other side of the question.
  • On the voice: She writes the way women actually think — raw, contradictory, honest, alive.
  • On the vulnerability: She goes first, so you don't have to go alone.

At the end of every chapter, you'll find a Shifting Moment — a practice, a prompt, a small invitation to begin your own becoming.

And when you're ready to go deeper, The Shifting Womanhood app is where the work continues — a daily companion for tracking your hormonal landscape, your cycles, your seasons, and the woman you are still becoming.

This is not the end of anything. It's the beginning of asking better questions.
